Texting

How people agree to texts

Every way a person says yes to text messages from Seided, word for word.

Seided LLC texts one kind of person from its own number: a business owner who asked Seided about its service. Nobody is texted without a recorded yes: the words they saw or heard, the time, and where it came from are kept with their number before the first message goes out. This page shows every way that yes is given.

What Seided texts, and the rules on every one

  • The confirmation of the call you booked with Seided, a reminder before it, a few short questions ahead of it, and replies to your own texts. Nothing else.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any text to stop; it stops at once. Reply HELP for help, or email support@seided.com.
  • Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking the call or of buying anything.
  • Mobile numbers and text-messaging consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy and the Terms, section 4a.

1. The booking form on this site

At seided.com/book a business owner enters their name, company, mobile and email to book a call. Under the mobile field is an unchecked box. It stays unchecked unless they tick it:

Yes, text me about my call with Seided at this number. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Privacy Policy · Terms

Ticking the box and pressing "Book my call" is the yes. The wording, the time, the page, the address it came from and the number are stored as the consent. Without the tick, we never text; we email the calendar invite instead.

2. On the phone with Seided

When a business owner books on a call with us, we ask, in these words, before anything is texted:

"Seeded will text you the confirmation, and a couple of quick questions before the call. Is this number OK for that? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP any time."

Their yes is recorded with the line from the call transcript, the time and the number before any text is sent. A no means email only.

3. By text

Texting START or YES to Seided's number turns texts back on after a STOP. The reply is: "You are now opted in to texts from Seided. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to stop."

What a text from Seided looks like

  • "Seided: you're booked with us Fri at 9:00 AM, a 30-minute video call. The link is in your email. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help."
  • "Seided: quick one before Friday's call. About how many quotes went out last season? Reply here. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help."
  • "Seided: reminder, your call is tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Reply R to reschedule. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help."

Stopping

STOP, END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, REVOKE or OPTOUT, in any case, ends every text from that number at once, and the reply confirms it. HELP or INFO gets a short reply with how to reach us and how to stop. Questions: support@seided.com.

Texts from the companies that use Seided

Seided runs the office for landscape and hardscape companies. Each of those companies texts its own customers under its own registered business identity, from its own number, never under Seided's. Their customers agree on that company's own pages, which Seided hosts for them at app.seided.com, with wording that names the company:

Booking a visit. Above the booking button, every time, with the company's name filled in:

By booking you agree to receive texts and emails from [company name] about your appointment and your work. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, HELP for help. Privacy Policy · Terms
The consent wording directly above the Book my visit button on a company's page

Seasonal offers. A separate unchecked box, ticked only if the customer wants offers:

Yes, text me seasonal offers from [company name]. Up to 2 a month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Privacy Policy · Terms
A company's offers page: the unchecked offers box and the booking wording above the button

Signing a proposal. Beside the signature box:

By signing you accept this proposal and agree to receive texts and emails from [company name] about this proposal and your work. Your name, time, and device are recorded. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, HELP for help. Privacy Policy · Terms

On the phone or in person the company's office reads: "Can we text you at this number about your appointment and your work? Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop, or HELP for help." and records the words, the date, who took them and the number before any text. A live example on a demonstration company's page: app.seided.com/offers/pre-season (Larkspur Outdoor Design is sample data, not a customer).

Hand us the office. Keep the crews.

Pick a time, add your name and email, and you're booked. We'll look at your leads and quotes with you and tell you straight whether Seided fits.
